Question 1

What is Planra?

Accepted Answer

Planra is an AI agent-as-a-service (AaaS) platform for project management. It provides autonomous AI agents that plan projects, manage sprints, monitor deadlines, and coordinate teams — all without manual intervention. You can use Planra's built-in AI or bring your own AI provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, or any custom endpoint).

Question 2

What is Agent as a Service (AaaS)?

Accepted Answer

Agent as a Service (AaaS) is the evolution of SaaS where autonomous AI agents perform tasks and achieve outcomes on behalf of users. Instead of users operating tools manually, AI agents monitor, reason, decide, and execute continuously. Planra is the first AaaS platform purpose-built for project management.

Question 3

What can Planra AI agents do?

Accepted Answer

Planra AI agents can: create and manage projects end-to-end, plan sprints based on team capacity, monitor overdue and stalled tasks daily, assign and reassign work across team members, generate reports and summaries, set up workflow automations, create notes and whiteboard flows, track time, manage labels and checklists, send notifications, and call external APIs via webhooks. There are 25+ action types and 14 pre-built agent templates.

Question 4

Can I use my own AI provider with Planra?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Planra supports Bring Your Own Agent (BYOA). Team plan users can connect their own OpenAI, Anthropic, or any OpenAI-compatible custom endpoint. Your API keys are encrypted with AES-256-GCM and never exposed. You can set a default provider or assign specific providers to individual agents.

Question 5

How does Planra compare to Linear, Asana, or Jira?

Accepted Answer

Planra goes beyond traditional project management tools by adding autonomous AI agents. While Linear, Asana, and Jira require manual task management, Planra's agents proactively plan projects, monitor progress, detect risks, and take corrective actions automatically. It also includes features like AI-generated project blueprints, client portals, and a bring-your-own-agent system that no traditional PM tool offers.

Question 6

How much does Planra cost?

Accepted Answer

Planra has three plans: Free ($0, 25 AI credits/month, basic features), Pro ($9/month or $86/year, 3 agents, 200 AI credits/month, all features, BYOA), and Team ($79/month or $758/year, unlimited agents and unlimited team members, 500 AI credits/month, BYOA, audit logs). Team has no per-seat fees — invite as many members as you need.
