Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: October 2, 2026

1. Purpose

This policy explains what you may not do with Planra and how anyone — including people without an account — can report content hosted on Planra. It is part of our Terms of Service.

2. Content you may not create, upload or share

  • Illegal content — anything that breaks the law where you are or where it is seen.
  • Infringing content — material that violates someone's copyright, trademark, trade secret or other rights.
  • Harmful content — threats, harassment, defamation, or content promoting violence or self-harm.
  • Hateful content — content attacking people based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or other protected characteristics.
  • Sexual content involving minors, or sexually explicit content shared publicly.
  • Deceptive content — scams, fraud, and phishing, including forms, signing links, portals or published docs that pretend to be another organisation or ask for passwords or payment details under false pretences.
  • Malware — viruses or other harmful code, in files or links.
  • Other people's private information shared without a lawful basis.

3. Activities you may not do

Technical abuse

  • Getting around rate limits, plan limits, AI credit limits or security controls.
  • Probing, scanning or testing the Service for vulnerabilities except as allowed by our security policy.
  • Accessing other customers' data or workspaces you are not a member of.
  • Scraping or bulk-extracting data other than through the API within its limits.
  • Overloading the Service or interfering with how it works.
  • Reverse engineering the Service except where the law allows it.

Account abuse

  • Creating extra accounts to get around limits, or sharing sign-in details.
  • Selling or transferring an account.
  • Pretending to be another person or organisation, or misrepresenting who you work for.

Commercial abuse

  • Reselling the Service without our written permission.
  • Sending unsolicited bulk email through invitations, notifications, forms or signing links.

4. AI features and agents

  • Do not use AI features or agents to produce illegal, harmful or deceptive content.
  • Do not try to make AI features ignore their instructions or safety limits (jailbreaking or prompt injection), or plant instructions in content to manipulate other people's agents.
  • Do not use scripts to burn through AI requests or to get around AI credits.
  • Do not configure agents to act on systems or data you are not allowed to use.
  • Be open about AI-generated content where the law or the context requires it.

5. Reporting illegal or abusive content (notice and action)

Anyone can report content hosted on Planra — including public forms, signing links, client portals, share links and published docs — by emailing abuse@planra.co. Every public page has a "Report abuse" link that starts this email for you. Please include:

  • the exact link (URL) of the content;
  • why you believe it is illegal or breaks this policy, with enough detail for us to assess it;
  • your name and email address (you can report child sexual abuse material anonymously); and
  • a statement that you believe in good faith that the information in your report is accurate and complete.

We confirm receipt, review reports quickly and carefully, and tell you what we decided. Copyright complaints can also follow our DMCA & Copyright Policy.

Point of contact for authorities and users (EU Digital Services Act): legal@planra.co. We can communicate in English.

6. What we may do

Depending on how serious the problem is, and any history of earlier problems, we may:

  • warn you and ask you to stop;
  • remove or disable content, or turn off a share link, portal, form or published doc;
  • suspend an API key, agent or feature;
  • suspend or close an account; or
  • report the matter to the authorities where the law requires it or someone's safety is at risk.

When we restrict content or an account, we tell the affected user what we did, why, which rule or law it was based on, and how to appeal — unless the law forbids it or telling them would put someone at risk.

7. Appeals

If you think we got it wrong — whether you reported content or your content was restricted — email abuse@planra.co within six months of our decision, with the link or account concerned and why you disagree. A person who was not involved in the original decision will review it and we will reply, normally within 14 days. If you are in the EU you may also use a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body or go to court.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new date; material changes follow the notice rules in the Terms.
